About Sarrazin's

Welcome to Sarrazin's.

This website deals with carnivorous plants, their care and cultivation, and the observation of their native habitats. Particolar focus has been put on the genus Sarracenia, which is my favourite.

The name of the site comes from the name of dr. Sarrazin, a Canadian scientist who has been the first (back in the sixteenth century) to make serious observations on these plants of the new world, even sending specimens back in Europe for further study and classification.

If you are an italian speaker, you'd probably better access to the main site, which is in italian. Click here.

Please notice: Sarrazin's is still widely incomplete and under construction. It has been put online just for the first quick tests. If you experience layout problems or other oddities, or if you just want to send a suggestion or idea, please drop me a line. Also, note that some sections of the original italian site haven't been ported to the english version (FAQ, local retailer list...). There are already best resources on the net for english speakers, and I'm trying to use my little time in porting to english just the relevant parts of the site.
